Ik ben zo trots! Dit is SPPP’s grootste collectie ooit…. En het was zo leuk om te maken. Sommige producten zijn bijna als vanzelf ontstaan, het gemak en het plezier van het maken van deze collectie was echt een zegen! Het gaf me zoveel energie en inspiratie.
“Er zijn al zoveel producten met vogelnestjes en het lente thema. Daarom wil ik er een andere draai aan geven. Ik vergelijk een vogelnestje met een drukke geest en de uitdagingen die daarbij komen kijken. Zonder tekst is dit een echte lente collectie, met tekst krijgt het een andere, diepere betekenis.”
De Metaphors: Bird’s Nest collectie is daarom echt een heel divers product. Zoals je misschien al weet, werk ik graag in lagen – dat wil zeggen, bij elk product dat ik maak, denk ik na over de mogelijke toepassingen ervan, zowel in letterlijke als figuurlijke zin. Zoals in de productbeschrijving staat, kun je de essentials (elementen) en de papersr gebruiken om prachtige pagina’s met een lente thema te maken, maar als je de teksten en woorden aan je pagina toevoegt, krijgt je werk een heel andere betekenis waarmee je kunt reflecteren als in een art journal. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld door je idee over je ideeën in dit thema uit te drukken en te genieten van het proces van nadenken en creatief bezig zijn.

I am so excited! This is SPPP’s biggest collection ever…. And it was so much fun to make. Some products emerge almost naturally, the ease and joy of making this collection was a real blessing! It gave me so much energy and inspiration.

The Metaphors: Bird’s Nest collection is therefore really a very diverse product. As you may already know, I love to work in layers – that is, with every product I make, I think about its possible uses both in a literal and figurative sense. As mentioned in the product description, you can use the essentials (elements) and the papers to create beautiful pages with a spring theme, but if you add the expressions to your page, your work takes on a whole different meaning allowing you to reflect as in an art journal by expressing your idea about your ideas in this theme, for example, and enjoy the process of being creative.
